2 channel portable receiver for high quality sound for ENG/EFP productions\nThe URX-P03D 2-channel portable receiver forms part of a complete UWP-D audio system offering the sound quality of digital audio processing combined with the reliability of analogue FM modulation. The URX-P03D offers wide frequency coverage with up to 72 MHz bandwidth (depending on region) across a wide range of channels, with a choice of models to choose from. Easy-to-use features include a large display and small size to fit neatly on any size camcorder or DSLR camera, automatic channel setting function, headphone output, USB connection for power supply and line input availability. The receiver also has external mic input for an additional wired microphone and 3 channel mixer function. The UWP-D Series system provides superb transient response performance for all ENG / EFP production applications.\n\n2 channel portable receiver\nDigital Audio Processing for high quality sound\nImproves transient response performance between the UWP-D transmitter and receiver, which will provide impressive natural sound quality compared to conventional analogue wireless systems.\n\nExternal mic input for additional wired microphone\nThis portable receiver has an external mic input connector for additional wired microphone. It also has a 3 channel mixer function for the two wireless microphones and one wired microphone.\n\nWide frequency coverage with choice of channels available\nThe extra wide switching bandwidth covers a wide area, with a wide choice of channels available across multiple models - please refer to product specifications for more information.\n14UC: 470.125 MHz to 541.875 MHz (UHF-TV channels 14 to 25)\n25UC: 536.125 MHz to 607.875 MHz (UHF-TV channels 25-36)\n42LA: 638.125 MHz to 697.875 MHz (UHF-TV channels 42-51), 25 kHz steps (not available in US or Canada)\n\nLarge display and small size receiver\nThe receiver features a large display for ease of use, while its small size means it fits neatly on any size camcorder or DSLR camera.\n\nEasy to use features\nAutomatic channel setting function, headphone output, USB connection for power supply and line input availability.\n\nFor customers in North America\nThe URX-P03D/30 and URX-P03D/42 models operates in portions of the 617-652 MHz or 663-698 MHz frequencies. As of 2017, these frequencies are being transitioned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to the 600 MHz service to meet increasing demand for wireless broadband services. Users of these models must cease operating on these frequencies no later than July 13, 2020. In addition, users may be required to cease operations before that date if their operations could cause harmful interference to a 600 MHz service licensee's wireless operations on these frequencies. For more information, contact the FCC.\n\nFor customers in Canada, please consult ISED’s Spectrum Advisory Bulletin for recent information related to the 600 MHz band transition.\n\nFeatures\nUWP-D digital audio processing for high quality sound\nThe UWP-D Series wireless microphone systems uses Sony Digital Audio Processing to improve sound quality and transient response performance compared to conventional analogue wireless systems. It provides superb transient response performance. Analogue companding systems cannot accurately reproduce sounds such as a bell, tee shot or handclap, but Sony Digital Audio Processing reproduces them faithfully.\n\nExternal mic input for additional wired microphone with 3 channel Mixer function\nThe URX-P03D 2-channel portable receiver has an external mic input connector for additional wired microphones. Sony microphones with BMP plug or plug-in power microphones (stereo/mono) are applicable by menu setting. It also has a 3 channel mixer function for the two wireless microphones and one wired microphone. It can assign output 1 or/and 2 freely.\n\nLarge display and small size receiver\nThis receiver is designed to fit even small camcorders or DSLR cameras, with dimensions of 63mm x 82mm x 28.4mm (W x H x D) and a weight of approx. 210 g (including batteries). The transmitters and receivers also feature a bright 11.5mm x 27.8mm display, significantly larger than previous UWP models to make them easily readable in all situations.\n\nFast and easy channel scan\nWith its Clear Channel Scan, Active Channel Scan function and IR Sync features, the system detects unoccupied channels and selects the most appropriate channel automatically, for fast and easy system setup.\n\nAutomatic channel setting mode\nThe Auto Set channel mode allows the user to find and set available frequencies to use within the operating frequencies of the system. The receiver will automatically set the transmitter channel using the IR Sync feature.\n\nWide frequency coverage\nThe extra wide switching bandwidth covers a wide area, with a wide choice of channels available across multiple models - please refer to product specifications for more information.\n\nTrue Diversity reception system*\nThe UWP-D system achieves exceptionally stable audio signal being delivered from two independent receiver sections within the unit. Optimum signal quality is delivered by the two receivers sections and a comparison circuit constantly pulls the one with the best signal to give dropout free transmission. \n*Applied for 1 channel use. Antenna diversity is applied for 2 channel use.\n\nCompatibility with Sony 800 and UWP Series analogue audio receivers\nThe UWP-D Series transmitters and receivers are also compatible with Sony’s WL-800 Series, UWP Series and Freedom Series, allowing users to switch between different companding modes.\n\nHeadphone output for monitoring\nThe UWP-D system provides its own headphone output socket, which is particularly useful when working with a camera that does not have a headphone output.\n\nUSB for external power supply or charging batteries\nThe URX-P03D portable receiver has a micro USB terminal for connection to USB external portable power sources allowing the unit to be powered by the camcorder during use, resulting in hassle free power. You can also load NiMh batteries into the receiver to be charged through the micro USB.\n\nRobust metal body\nThe URX-P03D portable receiver is made of strong, durable metal. Metal construction supports reliable use in rough operating conditions.\n\nVariable output level on portable receiver\nThe system provides variable output level control of ±12dB, for use with the various input levels of camcorders and DSLR cameras.
