Welcome Libri GmbH Welcome to Blackwater Creek

Blackwater Creek is a place you leave, but it never really leaves you.Down old roads, past abandoned churches, porch lights, diners, graveyards, and houses filled with more ghosts than people, a town's history slowly begins to surface. Family stories blur with local legend. Faith wrestles with doubt. The dead keep showing up in memories, and every road seems to lead back to something unfinished.Through a collection of interconnected poems, Blackwater Creek explores inheritance, loss, religion, addiction, survival, and the strange beauty of growing up around broken things. These are poems about grandfathers on porches, empty pews, highway lines, forgotten prayers, and people trying to decide whether home is something worth returning to-or something they have spent their entire lives trying to escape.Part Southern Gothic, part Americana blues, Blackwater Creek is a portrait of a fictional town where every scar has a story, every family has a secret, and even in the darkest places, grace still finds a way through.
