The Gigaset A540 cordless phone offers everything you need in a landline phone. You can make use of an easy-to-use telephone book with enough storage space for up to 150 contacts, with names and numbers. The display presents the telephone number or name as a useful call indication.

Use the day/night mode to deactivate your ringtone with a timer so you can sleep without being disturbed by your phone. Your VIP calls kkep activated in case someone close to you urgently needs to get hold of you. In addition you can suppress anonymous calls so that calls with no caller ID are only indicated visually.

The energy-saving power supply of the Gigaset A540 consumes less electricity, so it’s kinder to the environment, and kinder to your wallet. Like all Gigaset cordless phones, it variably reduces the transmitting power from the handset to base station depending on their distance apart. You can also reduce the transmitting power of the Gigaset A540’s base station by 80% simply by selecting the ECO Mode. Furthermore, radiation-free ECO Mode Plus turns off the transmitting power when the phone is in standby.

With an integrated answering machine, the A540A landline phone has up to 20 minutes of recording time – so you can be sure never to miss an important message. The answering machine is easy to use via both the handset and base station. New message notifications are displayed on the handset and the base station.
