As the big brother of the ZENSOR series, the DALI ZENSOR 7 loudspeaker is a very strong and fine hi-fi floor standing speaker with a beautiful finish. The ZENSOR series are affordable quality loudspeakers with origin in DALI’s high-end heritage.

SOFT DOME TWEETER
With a clear heritage from our high-end series, the lightweight dome tweeter offers best in class resolution.

WOOD FIBRE CONES
This mix paper pulp and wood fibre makes the cones stiff and light which ensures that every micro detail in the signal is reproduced unfiltered.

DALI DRIVER DESIGN
Every driver used in the ZENSOR series is designed by DALI engineers. Only this way can we ensure that the DALI sound principles are preserved.

LOW LOSS CONSTRUCTION
By choosing every driver component with great care, we make sure that no signal is lost or changed on its way through the loudspeaker. Through very low mechanical loss, the most fragile sound details, even at very low listening levels, are preserved.

Details
Standing 97.8 cm, the flagship model of the series is both noticeable and contemporarily becoming in its high-gloss lacquered finish. If you really need the full blown sonic experience in a mid to large sized room at an affordable level, this is where to go!

Being the Magnum Opus of the series, only ZENSOR 7 is equipped with 2x7” woofers. The larger cone area on all ZENSOR’s compared to market standards ensures a highly effortless and authentic reproduction of musical dynamics. Add to this a 25 mm soft dome tweeter, which, in order to reproduce high frequencies of uppermost accuracy, is just half the weight of most soft dome tweeters on the market today.

Every detail is handled with care. A few examples: the stylish, rounded edges reduces diffractions, which minimizes distortion; solid aluminium complements the front baffle; an aluminium base elevates the loudspeaker from the floor; and a detachable front grille is included for flexible appearances.

In other words: Our vision is not to make another traditional loudspeaker, but to have it be a unique and fully satisfying experience against the backdrop of our roots and core values. Thus ZENSOR 7 is capable of reproducing the finest details from a stereo signal and serving as the truly powerful speaker – by itself or as forceful front speaker in a surround set up.

TWEETER
With a clear heritage from our high end series, the lightweight dome tweeter in the ZENSOR 7 offers best in class resolution. It features timing due to the position of the tweeter, minimised compression and increased power handling, thanks to the vented voice coil former. The damping material under the dome minimises reflections from the pole piece.

WOOFER
Both the 5.25 inch and the 7 inch ZENSOR 7 woofers feature 4-layer voice coils for maximum control of the wood fibre cone. The low loss construction is ensured by a rigid metal basket and meticulously optimised cone. The result is bass authority, well-controlled reproduction of micro-detail and great transient capabilities.

CABINET
CNC machined MDF board, dressed in a top-of-the-class laminate forms the framework of the speaker. In addition, the floor-standing models feature strong internal bracing to reduce structural resonances.

In order to optimise timing, the ZENSOR 7 is fitted with acoustic damping material internally along the sides, top and bottom - but not on the rear side of the front baffle as this creates a more direct contact between woofer and bass port. The audible result is a more precise bass and increased ‘attack’ in the midrange.

The elegant aluminium base elevates the floor-standing models.
