The rejuvenation of the temple at Somnath explains why the Hindu Beliefs survived for thousands of years. If physical strength had been the only saviour, then Hindus may have been annihilated. Hindu belief systems survived because Hindus focused on collective memory to protect their belief systems. How did Hindus manage to pass on the same beliefs to so many people over a large geography?
