In 40 years, I still manage to surprise myself. I used to hate reading and writing when I was younger-I never imagined I'd become an author. I thought I'd be an astronaut, a lawyer, or maybe a doctor-definitely not someone with their nose buried in books. But life has its own way of unfolding. We don't always know what our story will be, but we should keep going anyway. From November 13, 1984 to now, I think I've done just that.
