Penguin Jane Austen at Penguin Hardcover

A box set of 50 postcards, each featuring a classic Jane Austen cover design from Penguin

From the first Penguin edition of Pride and Prejudice in 1938, with its glorious woodcut illustrations, to a special wartime Northanger Abbey published to provide troops with comforting reading material; and from the Clothbound Classics covers designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith to a brand-new edition of Jane Austen’s juvenilia from 2025, here is a celebration of ten decades of publishing history and design heritage, and one of the world’s most beloved authors.

Publishing in Jane Austen’s 250th anniversary year, this box of postcards will make the perfect gift for both lovers of Austen and fans of classic book design.
