I wanted to phase gas out. So I bought this to put over my gas stove. It fitted perfectly. The gas stove I have is a Smeg with a 60cm cooking stove area + 5cm metal border each side. The Etna fits right in, with a small 0,5cm gap in all sides helping with ventilation. And enough space to fit and hide an extension plug under it.
