Lumbar OmniScriptum SRL Lumbar spinal stenosis: Treatment involving active or passive mobilisation

Lumbar spinal stenosis is a condition that affects a large number of people over the age of 65. Using a real-life patient case with this diagnosis (degenerative spinal stenosis at the L2/3 to L5/S1 levels), a literature review is conducted to determine whether active or passive therapies have a positive effect on pain and mobility. Following a general introduction to the topic, the surgical procedures used to treat lumbar spinal stenosis are briefly outlined, and epidural steroid injections are presented as an alternative.
