Come Play With Me is a conversation between mother and daughter. The book unfolds through a series of haiku sent between Sasha Bank and her mother, Cathy Miller. Throughout Come Play With Me, the poets explore the sanctity of motherhood, the nature of forgiveness, and the meaning of unconditional love. It offers daughters the opportunity to see their mothers as fellow travelers, and gives mothers the chance to see their daughters as architects of their own autonomy.
