Growth Point - "The Great Stone" Paperback

In June 2014, a ceremony was held in the Smolevichi District of the Minsk Region to lay the cornerstone for the China-Belarus Industrial Park, named "The Great Stone." At that time, it was announced that construction of this large-scale project would take 30 years. Today, this industrial park already plays a central role in relations between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China. As of February 2026, it already had more than 170 residents. Four core clusters are being formed here: mechanical engineering; pharmaceuticals and medicine, including traditional Chinese medicine; electronics; and integrated logistics. In 2025, a record number of residents-34-were attracted to the park; they plan to implement initiatives in the fields of mechanical engineering, medical device manufacturing, research and development, healthcare, and e-commerce. This year, the authorized capital of "Great Stone" is planned to be increased to $250 million. How is this large-scale project continuing to develop and build its industrial, innovative, export, and financial capabilities? This paper addresses these questions.
