Majmu'at Al-Buni Manuscripts Collection- Majmu'at al-Awrad

The first complete English translation of Majmu'at al-Awrad (Collection of Litanies), a compendium of protective prayers, invocations, and ritual formulas attributed to the great Sufi master Ahmad ibn Ali al-Buni. This devotional manual preserves a rich tradition of daily spiritual practice rooted in the Quranic sciences and the invocation of the divine names.

The collection includes prayers revolving around Surat Ya Sin and Surat al-Fath, followed by a carefully ordered sequence of litanies (awrad) for protection from harm, relief of distress, healing of illness, reconciliation, and spiritual opening. Each prayer is presented in the three-layer scholarly format: flowing English translation, ALA-LC transliteration with full diacritical marks, and the original Arabic script.

Among the contents are invocations through the ninety-nine divine names, adjurations for swift spiritual response, blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad, and specialized supplications for plague, affliction, and the strengthening of faith. Barbarous names (voces magicae) are preserved exactly as written in the manuscript, transliterated without alteration.
