Description du produit
Most people will never see the inside of a prison kitchen. Every day, a thousand inmates have to be fed. The workers are inmates themselves. The equipment can double as weapons. And every personality in the room is looking for an angle. Running the kitchen means balancing discipline, humor, patience and the understanding that chaos is always just one mistake away. In Tales from the Pumpkin Patch: Inside a Prison Kitchen, K. S. Wall shares short, honest stories from the daily reality of managing a prison kitchen. From entitlement and manipulation to unexpected teamwork and respect, these moments reveal what it really takes to hold the line in one of the most unpredictable workplaces imaginable. Sometimes frustrating. Sometimes hilarious. Always real. Welcome to the pumpkin patch.
