The meaning of regenerative agriculture is improving soil health, rather than sustainable agriculture which means maintaining soil health. We need to be improving the soil as plants, animals and humans continue to use the land and water. Through the changing seasons, the book introduces young readers to the idea that caring for the land helps the land care for us.
