THE ARTIST. Regency Pugh graduated from Nottingham Trent university with a degree in Creative Arts and followed a career in design, illustration and art direction. For many years she has studied Japanese art, culture and calligraphy, both in Japan and the UK. She has developed her use of Sumi ink and Japanese brushes into an individual art style, always maintaining the simplest form and minimal line.
