Libri GmbH Beacons of Night Broché

Set against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic mirror of southern California, whose skies have darkened with the clouds of global nuclear fallout and whose territories have been recarved by tribes and ideologies, Beacons of Night follows the lives of those navigating a dim and divided world. With access to sunlight all but nonexistent, the dynamics of both power and pleasure stem from those who control the sun's properties, be they natural or artificial. From the free cities of the Western Fold and the high derived from Proxy-artificial sunlight-to the last valley to bask in the sun and the home of The New Faith's priesthood, Santa Terra, this novella - set in the universe dreamed by Matte Blvck's lyrics and laced with references to their catalog - explores relationships through the lens of lost light and what lengths people will go to get it back...or to keep it for themselves.
