Tough Toad Hardcover

From an eight-month-long episode of an eye allergy leading to severe anxiety and derealisation in 2021, to staring at cockroaches, indecisive about whether to kill them; from a detailed account of Captain Saurabh Kalia's bravery, to the most mundane love triangles written only so that I can use the word 'blue' in every line; from hating 'love' and still writing many poems about love, loss and healing, to being aggressive and sarcastically concerned about the filth and 'doglapan' of society; all I want to say is that I don't have a theme for my debut poetry collection.I give you 'Tough Toad,' which is also the title of one of my poems in the book. The good, the bad and everything in between. I am the Tough Toad. The Tough Toad is me. And this, my dear friends, is me saying, "Hello."
