In the days leading up to Halloween, Tom Lingquist-part-time movie theater employee, full-time private eye-finds himself facing more than just holiday treats. While someone sinister is planning deadly tricks, the Persephone29 multiplex is set to be closed to the public on October 31st for the first time in its history.¿On Halloween night, the building will host an elite party organized by socialite, influencer and event planner, Vivian Allen. When the influencer's assistant is found dead while attending a private screening on the night before with a wad of chewing gum in her hair, the festive atmosphere turns cold. Lingquist must determine if the events of the last few days are a clue that the night will culminate in a Happy Halloween-or a Dead Man's Party.
